Carrington Resort is located halfway between Doubtless Bay and the northern spit on the Karikari Peninsula. The golf course is the centrepiece of Carrington and offers possibly the most diverse resort complex in New Zealand.
Accommodation - Carrington Resort offers both Lodge and Villa accommodation with views to the ocean and resorts vineyard. The 10 lodge suites are spacious with California king sized bed and private bathrooms, each opens onto a wide spacious verandah connecting to the main club facilities. The luxury Villas are self-contained with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, each has a fireplace and private garage. The clubhouse offers fine dining and lounge facilities with many activities available within the resort.
Golf Course - A unique feature of this course is that although being situated beside the ocean it looks and plays like an inland golf course, with rolling hills, vales and natural water hazards which combine to make this a tournament quality 18 hole course and provides a challenging play with beautiful views across the ocean and peninsula. |
