DAY 1 - ARRIVE WELLINGTON
Arrive Wellington and collect your Budget rental car upon arrival. Only a short drive into Wellington city to check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy this Cosmopolitan City, take the cable car for great views of the City and Harbour or visit Te Papa - The Museum of New Zealand is no ordinary museum with many interactive displays enabling you to explore and learn in as much detail as you wish. DAY 2 - PARAPARAUMU BEACH GOLF DAY
Today a very pleasant fifty-minute drive north of the Capital City to Paraparaumu, situated on the Kapiti Coast. Paraparaumu Beach enjoys a long held reputation as the premier links course in New Zealand. Paraparaumu Beach has hosted the New Zealand Open Championship on twelve occasions as well as numerous prestigious professional and amateur tournaments. Later today take a leisurely drive back along the coast to the city. Overnight accommodation (Superior) Mercure Hotel or (Deluxe) Duxton Hotel.
DAY 3 - WELLINGTON TO BLENHEIM
This morning an early start, returning your vehicle at the Ferry terminal before checking in for your 3 hour Scenic Cruise from Wellington to Picton onboard the Interislander. Upon arrival collect your Budget vehicle and continue through to Blenheim in the heart of the famous Marlborough wine region. Lunch today is at Montana Estate Winery where you will enjoy tastings and a delicious meal. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. DAY 4 - BLENHEIM TO HANMER SPRINGS
A round of golf this morning at Marlborough Golf Course, situated among the vineyards. This 18 hole, par 71 course is a partly undulating, park-like course that sets a high standard in grooming and is a joy to play. Heading South to Kaikoura then inland to the thermal resort township of Hanmer Springs, a picturesque town with natural mineral hot springs. Late this afternoon enjoy your spa package at the Thermal reserve leaving your muscles relaxed and rejuvenated. DAY 5 - HANMER SPRINGS TO CHRISTCHURCH
Today it's off to the Garden City of Christchurch for
your last round of golf at Clearwater Resort; this par 72 championship course is home to the NZ PGA Championship, the course combines elements of links golf inspired by the great Scottish courses with parkland golf, more reminiscent of Florida. Playable year-round, the course meanders around a succession of spring fed lakes and trout filled streams, with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Southern Alps. Overnight accommodation (Superior) Heritage Christchurch or (Deluxe) Peppers Clearwater Resort.
Option: Enjoy a tour of the City aboard the Christchurch Tramway Restaurant with a 5 course feast and a glass of champagne.
DAY 6 - DEPART CHRISTCHURCH
Your time today is at leisure before returning your rental vehicle to Budget for your onward journey.
