DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
Arrive Auckland and collect your Budget rental car. Check into your hotel, right in the heart of the city. The remainder of your day is at leisure; take a walk to Viaduct Harbour the home of the Americas Cup action with vibrant restaurants and an abundance of nightlife. DAY 2 - FORMOSA GOLF DAY
Today is a morning round of golf at Formosa Golf Resort, this course covers an area of 440 acres, which makes it New Zealand's longest championship course at 6,650 metres off the Pro (Black) Tees. The 18-hole golf course has a par of 72. There are 4 tees per hole: forward, regular, championship, and professional, so that everyone can play and enjoy the course. Return to the city with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Tonight go to the top of the Sky Tower and enjoy dinner with a view in the Observatory Restaurant. DAY 3 - AUCKLAND TO GULF HARBOUR
Travel north across the Auckland harbour bridge towards Gulf Harbour Country Club only a 45-minute drive from downtown Auckland. Pass Orewa with its long sandy beaches before reaching the Gulf Harbour. This afternoon enjoy a round of golf on this 6,400 metre, par 72 golf course, as it meanders through native grasses and vegetation with its natural look and feel from start to finish. The front nine is slightly hillier and has an open feeling, while the back nine wanders towards the ocean and culminates with some of the most scenic holes anywhere. DAY 3 - KARIKARI PENINSULA TO PAIHIA
A short drive today to Paihia, the main centre for the Bay of Islands. The small resort village overlooks the beautiful bay to Russell, an area is steeped in history as the place where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed between the English and tribal Maori Chiefs. This afternoon enjoy a round of golf at Waitangi Golf Course offering well-groomed greens and fairways surrounded by areas of flowering native trees. Overnight accommodation is at (Superior) Kingsgate Autolodge or (Deluxe) Paihia Beach Resort and Spa.
DAY 4 - PAIHIA TO AUCKLAND
Today head back towards Auckland stopping for your last round. "Tee off" at Gulf Harbour Country Club with spectacular finishing holes, ocean views and rolling terrain make this one of the most exciting developments in New Zealand. Upon arrival in Auckland return your Budget vehicle before your onward journey.
DAY 4 - DEPART AUCKLAND
Today is at leisure before returning your Budget vehicle to Auckland International Airport for your onward journey.
