DAY 1 - ARRIVE QUEENSTOWN
Arrive Queenstown and collect your Budget rental car. Join Kawarau Jet from downtown Queenstown for an hour long scenic and thrilling jet boat ride across Lake Wakatipu and into the Shotover River with the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.
DAY 2 - MILLBROOK RESORT GOLF DAY
Only a short drive from Queenstown lies Arrowtown a quaint village created in the gold mining boom with many of the original shop fronts still visible today. Millbrook Resort is a international standard resort and golf course and without question one of the finest alpine courses in the world. The par 72 course is relatively wide open and trouble free for golfers of all handicaps. The views from the fairways should certainly make this a memorable experience.
DAY 3 - MILFORD SOUND DAY TRIP
Depart Queenstown early this morning with Real Journeys on a fantastic day trip, start by skirting around the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Kingston, cross fertile farmlands to Fiordland with an interesting commentary on the many highlights, travel through the Homer Tunnel into Milford Sound. A scenic cruise takes you the full length of the Sound highlighting waterfalls, sheer cliffs, mountains and wildlife. Return to Queenstown late this afternoon. DAY 4 - DEPART QUEENSTOWN
A chance to get another round of golf in this morning, this time at at Kelvin Heights Golf Course set out on a peninsula overlooking Lake Wakatipu. This picturesque course occupies a rolling plateau and is surrounded on three sides by the lake. A delight to play although the course is not long, the tree lined fairways set a challenge. Return your rental vehicle to Budget before your onward journey.
