Wellington and the Kapiti Coast golf courses are designed to challenge you and get you refining those hard praticed techniques.
Heading up the coast to the New Zealand Open Championship course at Paraparaumu is a delight, as you turn the corner from Pukerua Bay and the Tasman Sea and Kapiti Island Nature Reserve swing in to view. Take time to visit the small seaside towns there and back to Wellington. Theres some great coffee and sightseeing opportunities.
Wellington is New Zealands capital city and boasts a vibrant nightlife most of which are within walking distance of each other. Take your glad rags and your best golfing gear so you can rest asssured you will be prepared!

Arrive Wellington
Arrive Wellington and collect your rental car. The remainder of your day is at leisure to experience either the gourmet food so abundant in Wellington or visit Te Papa for a self guided tour of this interactive Museum. Tonight visit Karori Wildlife Sanctuary, an award winning Conservation Park, only minutes from the city and home to some of New Zealand’s rare wildlife.
Paraparaumu Golf Day
Today take a very pleasant fifty-minute drive north of the capital city to Paraparaumu, situated on the Kapiti Coast. Paraparaumu Beach enjoys a long held reputation as the premier links course in New Zealand. Paraparaumu Beach has hosted the New Zealand Open Championship on twelve occasions as well as numerous prestigious professional and amateur tournaments. Later today take a leisurely drive back along the coast to the city.
Wellington
This morning join Zest Food Tours to explore the capital’s favourite food places with your local guide as you travel by foot through Wellingtons’ eateries. Talk to owners, baristas, roasters and chefs as you go where only Zest can. Indulge your culinary senses with a delicious, light three course tasting lunch with matching New Zealand wines.
