Arrive Wellington and collect your rental car. The remainder of your day is at leisure to experience either the gourmet food so abundant in Wellington or visit Te Papa for a self guided tour of this interactive Museum. Tonight visit Karori Wildlife Sanctuary, an award winning Conservation Park, only minutes from the city and home to some of New Zealand’s rare wildlife.
Today take a very pleasant fifty-minute drive north of the capital city to Paraparaumu, situated on the Kapiti Coast. Paraparaumu Beach enjoys a long held reputation as the premier links course in New Zealand. Paraparaumu Beach has hosted the New Zealand Open Championship on twelve occasions as well as numerous prestigious professional and amateur tournaments. Later today take a leisurely drive back along the coast to the city.
